Description
This zine is a strange, poetic tale from the forest. Haunting and the stuff of dreams, it was written as a sort of response to David Wagner’s poem ‘Lost’ and loosely inspired by the myth of Daphne in Ovid’s ‘Metamorphosis’.
What can happen when you lose your way in the forest?
Are the trees all they seem?
What ghosts from the distant past haunt the edges of your dreams?
The piece was broadcast on the RTE Irish Radio as part of the programme ‘Keynotes: Nature’.
This A5 booklet/zine has 18 pages with highly detailed pen and ink illustrations accompanied by text. It is bound by hand and comes with a black tie and washer envelope.
